Each Coaster is handmade carefully with natural ingredients with the top layer made of processed Water Hyacinth. These are water proof, bio-degradable and safe to use at home and kitchen. In order to add extra beauty, signature iconic sketches of Calcutta are digitally printed on each Coaster with a coat of PU on top. Developing Water Hyacinth Products is a Socio-environmental project of Srejonee with an aim to generate rural employment from local raw material at the same time keeping environment clean by de-clogging water bodies from the highly polluting weed.
